Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs beef stew meat (cubed)
  • 1 packet Lipton Recipe Secrets Beefy Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 packet McCormick Brown Gravy Mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 cup water or beef broth (optional, for desired gravy consistency)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Beef:
    • Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
    • Spread the cubed beef stew meat evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Mix the Sauce:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine the Beefy Onion Soup Mix, Brown Gravy Mix, and Cream of Mushroom Soup.
    • Add 1 cup of water or beef broth if you prefer thinner gravy.
  3. Pour Over Beef:
    • Pour the prepared sauce evenly over the beef cubes in the baking dish.
  4. Cover and Bake:
    • Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil to retain moisture.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the beef is tender and the gravy is thick and flavorful.
  5. Serve:
    • Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles for a comforting meal.

  • Add sliced mushrooms, carrots, or potatoes for a one-dish meal.
  • For a richer flavor, sear the beef cubes in a skillet before placing them in the baking dish.
