Savory Herbed French Toast
Ingredients:
- 4 slices of bread (preferably a day or two old)
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter or oil for frying
Instructions:
- Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Stir in the chopped green onions, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Soak the Bread: Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, allowing the bread to soak up the liquid for a few seconds on each side.
