Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs
Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) ground beef
- 1/2 cup onion, finely diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese or cheese cubes
- 1 can (8 pieces) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Filling
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onions until the beef is browned and cooked through.
- Drain any excess grease and season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Set aside to cool slightly.
2. Assemble the Bombs
- Flatten each piece of biscuit dough into a small circle.
- Place a small spoonful of the beef mixture onto the center of the dough and add a cube or pinch of shredded cheddar cheese.
- Carefully fold the dough around the filling and pinch the edges to seal, forming a smooth ball.
3. Bake
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the dough balls seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or greased.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic. Brush the garlic butter over each dough ball.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the bombs are golden brown.
4. Garnish and Serve
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley for an added pop of color and flavor.
- Serve warm and enjoy the cheesy, garlicky goodness!
