Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (450g) ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese or cheese cubes
  • 1 can (8 pieces) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Filling

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onions until the beef is browned and cooked through.
  • Drain any excess grease and season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Set aside to cool slightly.

2. Assemble the Bombs

  • Flatten each piece of biscuit dough into a small circle.
  • Place a small spoonful of the beef mixture onto the center of the dough and add a cube or pinch of shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Carefully fold the dough around the filling and pinch the edges to seal, forming a smooth ball.

3. Bake

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place the dough balls seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or greased.
  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic. Brush the garlic butter over each dough ball.
  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the bombs are golden brown.

4. Garnish and Serve

  • Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley for an added pop of color and flavor.
  • Serve warm and enjoy the cheesy, garlicky goodness!
