Garlic Butter Lobster Tails
Ingredients:
- 4 lobster tails
- 1/4 cup (60g) unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional for a cheesy twist)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Lobster Tails:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Use kitchen scissors to cut through the top shell of the lobster tails, stopping at the tail. Gently pry the shell apart and pull the lobster meat up and over the shell, leaving it attached at the tail. Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet.
- Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the paprika, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Stir well.
- Brush the Lobster Tails:
- Generously brush the garlic butter mixture over the lobster meat. For an extra layer of flavor, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top if desired.
- Bake the Lobster Tails:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through. If using cheese, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end to achieve a golden crust.
- Garnish and Serve:
- Sprinkle the lobster tails with fresh parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges and extra garlic butter on the side.
