Chocolate-Glazed Cheesecake Recipe
Ingredients:
For the crust:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup melted butter
For the cheesecake:
- 3 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs

- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Make the crust:
- Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Set aside.
- Prepare the cheesecake filling:
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating just until blended.
- Pour the filling over the crust in the springform pan.
- Bake the cheesecake:
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set.
- Once done, turn off the oven and let the cheesecake sit in the oven with the door ajar for 1 hour.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
- Prepare the chocolate glaze:
- In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream just to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until smooth and glossy.
- Let the glaze cool slightly before pouring over the cooled cheesecake.
- Chill the cheesecake:
- Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Serve:
- Once set, remove the cheesecake from the pan, slice, and serve.
