Ingredients:
- For the Cupcakes:
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup whole milk
Instructions:
1. Preheat and Prepare:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
2. Mix Dry Ingredients:
- In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
3. Cream Butter and Sugar:
- In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
4. Add Eggs and Vanilla:
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
5. Combine with Dry Ingredients and Milk:
- Alternately add the dry ingredients and the milk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
6. Fill and Bake:
- Divide the batter evenly among the lined muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
7. Cool:
- Allow the cupcakes to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
