Slow Cooker Garlic Herb Chicken

 

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken:
    • Rinse the chicken breasts and pat them dry.
    • Place the chicken in the slow cooker.
  2. Mix the Ingredients:
    • In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, dried thyme, dried rosemary, and black pepper.
    • Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
    • Pour the low-sodium chicken broth around the chicken.
  3. Cook:
    • Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours.
    • The chicken is done when it is tender and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  4. Serve:
    • Carefully remove the chicken from the slow cooker.
    • Garnish with fresh parsley.
