Here’s a tasty recipe for Mini Cheese and Bacon Tarts—perfect for snacks, appetizers, or party 

bites!

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano (or thyme)
  • 1 tbsp chopped chives (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. Prepare pastry: Roll out the puff pastry and cut into small squares to fit the muffin tin. Gently press into each cup.
  3. Mix filling: In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and oregano. Stir in cooked bacon and cheeses.
  4. Fill the tarts: Spoon the mixture into each pastry cup, filling about 3/4 full.
  5. Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden and puffed.
  6. Garnish & serve: Let cool slightly, then sprinkle with fresh chives.
