Crispy Cheesy Potato Stacks
Ingredients:
- 4 large russet potatoes, thinly sliced π₯
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted π§
- 1/2 cup heavy cream π₯
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder π§
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme πΏ
- 1/2 teaspoon salt π§
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese π§
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese π§
- Fresh chives for garnish π±
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Grease a muffin tin.
- Prepare the potatoes: Slice the potatoes very thinly using a mandoline or sharp knife.
- Season: In a bowl, mix melted butter, heavy cream, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Toss the potato slices in this mixture.
- Stack the potatoes: Layer potato slices in the muffin tin, sprinkling Parmesan and cheddar cheese between each layer.
- Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on the edges.
- Garnish & Serve: Let cool slightly, then remove from the muffin tin. Garnish with fresh chives and serve warm!
π‘ Tip: For extra crispiness, broil for 2-3 minutes at the end!
