Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a mini muffin tin or spray it with non-stick spray.

  2. Cook the Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease and set aside to cool slightly.

  3. Mix the Filling: In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausage, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack, cream cheese, garlic powder, green onions (if using), and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until well blended.

  4. Prepare the Wontons: Press one wonton wrapper into each cup of the mini muffin tin, forming a small cup shape. Lightly brush or spray with oil for extra crispiness.

  5. Fill the Cups: Spoon about a tablespoon of the sausage mixture into each wonton cup.

  6. Bake Until Golden: Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges of the wonton wrappers are golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is bubbly.

  7. Cool & Serve: Let the bites cool slightly in the pan for 2–3 minutes, then transfer to a serving plate. Serve warm and enjoy!

These bites are endlessly customizable—try adding diced jalapeños, chopped bell peppers, or a drizzle of ranch or hot sauce on top.
