HOMEMADE CANDY WITH WALNUT AND CARAMEL
These simple, homemade candies are super easy to make and feature homemade microwaveable clusters of crushed pecans dipped in chocolate. They might be the best homemade candies on the market!
Ingredients:
300 grams soft caramel (homemade or store-bought)
150 grams hazelnuts (halved, roasted) Caramel:
1. Prepare a baking tray covered with aluminum foil or baking paper and sprinkle with flour or baking paper. . Nonstick cooking spray.
2. Arrange the walnuts in groups of 4, with all walnuts facing opposite directions (like a turtle’s foot). Alternatively, you can place it in a small market on the page.
3. Once wrapped, remove the caramel and place in a microwave-safe bowl. If it is too hard, add a spoonful of water to ease the final product. Microwave until melted, remove after 30 seconds.
4. Allow the caramel to cool slightly so it is not too hot, then use a spoon or small sugar scoop to pour a tablespoon of caramel into each cluster of walnuts. These are rusty candies, so you don’t have to worry about moths lingering around or nuts getting through them.
5. Melt the chocolate in the microwave or over medium heat.
6. Spoon the melted chocolate over the caramel, let it drip a little on the sides, and swirl the chocolate to completely cover the top of the caramel.
7. Place the baking tray in the refrigerator to allow the chocolate and caramel to set for at least 30 minutes. For best flavor and texture, prepare the squash at room temperature. Supplements can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator or at cold room temperature for up to two weeks.
