Cheesy Garlic Bread Recipe

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 large French baguette or Italian bread
  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Bread:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Slice the baguette or Italian bread in half lengthwise.
  2. Make the Garlic Butter:
    • In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Assemble the Bread:
    • Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over both halves of the bread.
    • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheeses evenly over the buttered bread.
  4. Bake:
    • Place the bread halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
  5. Finishing Touches:
    • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
    • Sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley over the top of the cheesy garlic bread.
  6. Serve:
    • Cut the bread into slices and serve warm.
