Ingredients:

  • 2 large cucumbers, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) sour cream
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried dill)
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Cucumbers:
    • Wash and thinly slice the cucumbers. You can peel them if desired, but leaving the peel on adds a nice texture and color.
  2. Make the Dressing:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, chopped dill, white vinegar, sugar, and garlic powder. Mix until well combined.
  3. Combine Cucumbers and Dressing:
    • Add the sliced cucumbers to the bowl with the dressing. Toss until the cucumbers are evenly coated with the creamy mixture.
  4. Season:
    • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning as needed.
  5. Chill:
    • Cover the bowl and refrigerate the salad for at least 1 hour before serving. This allows the flavors to meld together.
  6. Serve:
