Honey Garlic Glazed Chicken Bites

Ingredients:

For the Chicken:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

For the Glaze:

  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for a bit of heat)

For Garnish:

  • Fresh chopped parsley or green onions

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Chicken:

  • In a bowl, season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and paprika. Toss the chicken pieces in flour, shaking off any excess.

2. Cook the Chicken:

  • Add the chicken pieces to the skillet in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

3. Make the Glaze:

  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Stir in the honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly.

4. Combine and Glaze:

  • Return the cooked chicken bites to the skillet, tossing them in the glaze until fully coated. Let them cook in the glaze for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to caramelize and cling to the chicken.

5. Serve:

  • Transfer the glazed chicken bites to a serving dish.
  • Garnish with fresh chopped parsley or green onions for a pop of color and added flavor.

6. Enjoy:

  • These honey garlic glazed chicken bites are perfect served over rice, with a side of vegetables, or as an appetizer for a party.

This dish is a crowd-pleaser and combines the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and a hint of spice. Let me know if you need any further details!
