Crispy Baked Cauliflower Bites

 

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium cauliflower head, cut into florets
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) milk
  • 1 cup (120g) breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley or Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Non-stick cooking spray or olive oil
For Dipping Sauce:
  • Ranch dressing, garlic aioli, or marinara sauce

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Prepare the Coating:
    • In one bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
    • In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the Cauliflower:
    • Dip each cauliflower floret into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated.
    • Then, roll the floret in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the coating.
    • Place the coated florets onto the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake:
    • Lightly spray the coated florets with non-stick cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil for extra crispiness.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve:
    • Remove from the oven and serve immediately with your choice of dipping sauce.
