Crispy Baked Cauliflower Bites
Ingredients:
- 1 medium cauliflower head, cut into florets
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup (120ml) milk
- 1 cup (120g) breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley or Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Non-stick cooking spray or olive oil
For Dipping Sauce:
- Ranch dressing, garlic aioli, or marinara sauce
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Prepare the Coating:
- In one bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
- In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Coat the Cauliflower:
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Then, roll the floret in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the coating.
- Place the coated florets onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake:
- Lightly spray the coated florets with non-stick cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil for extra crispiness.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve:
- Remove from the oven and serve immediately with your choice of dipping sauce.
