Ingredients:

  • 2 fish fillets (tilapia, catfish, or cod work well)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for extra crispiness)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for spice)
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme or oregano
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Fish:
    • Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels. Brush lightly with olive oil for a crispier texture, if desired.
  3. Season the Fish:
    • In a small bowl, mix the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
    • Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the fish fillets.
  4. Cook in the Air Fryer:
    • Place the fish fillets on the air fryer rack or basket in a single layer. Avoid overlapping to ensure even cooking.
    • Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fish is golden brown and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Serve:
    • Serve the fish fillets hot with lemon wedges on the side for a fresh, tangy flavor. Pair with steamed vegetables, rice, or a salad for a complete meal.
