Apple Pecan Pie with Caramel Frosting
Caramel Apple Pie is a fall flavor in an easy dessert full of fall spices and all the trimmings. I’m sure I’ll love it.
Ingredients
1½ cups cooking oil
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon cinnamon ¾ cup butter
1 cup light brown sugar
¼ cup milk

In a large bowl, add oil, Add sugar and eggs and mix until a smooth, creamy mixture forms. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Place in a large bowl.Mix well. Add vanilla, mix well. Add apples and walnuts.

into a generously greased and floured baking pan (you can also use two loaf pans instead of one baking pan). Bake at 325° for about 1 hour.Check it with a toothpick after 50 minutes. If it comes out clean, your cake is ready. If you use loaf pans, be sure to check them after 50 minutes.

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the brown sugar and milk. Bring to a boil over low heat and then simmer, stirring constantly.Let cook for 10 minutes, continue stirring. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Remove. Let cool down. Once the caramel icing has cooled slightly, pour it over the cake.Step 4
