Apple Whiskey Glazed Chicken Wings
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp Kinders Whiskey Apple seasoning (or your favorite apple-flavored seasoning)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Apple Whiskey Glaze:
- 1/2 cup Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple whiskey
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water (for thickening, optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Season the Wings:
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, Kinders Whiskey Apple seasoning, salt, and black pepper until well coated.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack.
- Bake the Wings:
- Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning them halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
- Prepare the Apple Whiskey Glaze:
- While the wings are baking, combine the Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple whiskey, apple juice, honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and minced garlic in a small saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- If you prefer a thicker glaze, stir in the cornstarch mixture and continue to simmer until the glaze thickens to your desired consistency.
- Glaze the Wings:
- Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large bowl.
- Pour the apple whiskey glaze over the wings and toss to coat them evenly.
- Serve:
- Serve the Apple Whiskey Glazed Chicken Wings hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
