Ingredients

For the Layers:

  • 500g ground beef or chicken

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Vegetables:

  • 2 potatoes, thinly sliced

  • 1 zucchini, sliced

  • 1 cup spinach (optional)

For the Creamy Topping:

  • 1 cup ricotta or cottage cheese

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Meat Layer: Sauté the onion and garlic in a pan, add ground meat, and cook until browned. Stir in diced tomatoes, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.

2️⃣ Assemble the Casserole: In a greased baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, followed by zucchini slices, then the meat mixture. Repeat the layers and top with spinach.
