Beef and Vegetable Stir-Fry Noodles

 

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz udon noodles (or any noodles of your choice)
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Noodles:
    • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Beef and Vegetables:
    • Season the sliced beef with salt and pepper.
    • In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Stir-Fry the Vegetables:
    • In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
    • Add the bell pepper, carrot, and mushrooms. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. Combine and Cook:
    • Return the beef to the skillet. Add the cooked noodles.
    • Pour in the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
  5. Serve:
    • Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
    • Serve hot and enjoy your delicious beef and vegetable stir-fry noodles!
