Brown maple sugar
INGREDIENTS
2 cups flour
5 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup brown sugar
3 packets of instant oatmeal brown sugar
2 large eggs

a large bowl Instant oatmeal in bowl. Make a well in the middle of the wet material.
Using a wire whisk, combine the eggs, milk, vanilla, maple syrup and vegetable oil in a measuring cup, slowly add to the well, then add the dry ingredients. Mix until smooth. There may be a few bumps and that’s okay.
Set the battery aside and let it rest for 5 minutes while you heat the pan or oven.
Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium heat and apply a little oil to coat lightly. Pour 1/4 cup of the batter into the pan and distribute evenly on the back of your head or in the measuring cup.

When the base becomes golden brown and bubbles appear on the surface, about 3-5 minutes, turn the base with a spatula and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Repeat with remaining battery.
Serve with honey, brown sugar, agave syrup, hazelnuts, maple syrup or powdered sugar, or enjoy simply.
