Vanilla Cupcake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
 - 1 cup granulated sugar
 - 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
 - 2 large eggs
 - 1/3 cup sour cream
 - 1/4 cup milk
 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
 
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, and baking powder.
 - Add butter, eggs, sour cream, milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
 - Divide the batter evenly among the liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
 - Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
 - Let the cupcakes cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
 
Black Sesame Cupcakes
Ingredients:

 - 3 tablespoons black sesame seeds, plus extra for sprinkling
 
Directions:
- Follow the vanilla cupcake recipe, adding the black sesame seeds to the batter just before mixing.
 - Fill the cupcake liners with the sesame-studded batter.
 - Sprinkle additional sesame seeds on top of each cupcake before baking.
 - Bake as directed in the vanilla recipe.
