Cheesy Ground Beef and Pepperoni Pull-Apart Bread
Ingredients:
- 1 loaf of sourdough or French bread
- 1/2 lb (225g) ground beef
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices 🍕
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 🧀
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese 🧀
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted 🧈
- 2 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil 🌿
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce 🍅
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook the beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat and mix with marinara sauce.
- Prepare the bread: Cut the loaf into a grid pattern, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- Stuff the bread: Gently separate the sections and stuff the beef mixture, pepperoni slices, and shredded cheeses into the gaps.
- Prepare the garlic butter: Mix melted butter with garlic, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes. Drizzle evenly over the bread.
- Bake: Wrap the bread in foil and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 10 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley. Serve warm with extra marinara for dipping.
💡 Tip: For an extra crunch, broil for 2 minutes at the end!
