Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.

Layer the potatoes: Arrange a layer of thinly sliced potatoes in the bottom of the baking dish.

Prepare the cheese sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the heavy cream, milk, salt, and pepper. Stir and bring to a simmer.
