Cookies and Cream Frappe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee, chilled
- 1/2 cup milk or cream (for a richer taste)
- 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos), plus more for garnish
- Whipped cream, for topping
- Chocolate syrup, for drizzling
- Crushed cookies, for garnish
- Ice cubes
Instructions:
- Prepare the Coffee:
- Brew your coffee strong as it will be diluted with ice and other ingredients. Allow it to cool to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator.
- Blend the Frappe:
- In a blender, combine the chilled coffee, milk or cream, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and chocolate sandwich cookies. Add about 1 cup of ice cubes, or enough to achieve your desired consistency.
- Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
- Assemble the Drink:
- Drizzle chocolate syrup around the inside of a large glass to create a marbled effect.
- Pour the blended coffee mixture into the glass.
- Add Toppings:
- Generously top with whipped cream.
- Sprinkle crushed cookies over the whipped cream.
- Garnish with a whole cookie and additional drizzles of chocolate syrup if desired.
- Serve:
- Serve immediately with a straw and enjoy the burst of coffee and sweet cookie flavors.
