Creamy Mushroom Chicken
Ingredients

4 chicken breasts (boneless and skinless)

2 tbsp olive oil π«

1 medium onion, chopped π§

3 cloves garlic, minced π§

2 cups sliced mushrooms π

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream π₯

Β½ cup grated Parmesan cheese π§

1 tsp dried thyme πΏ

Instructions
Cook the Chicken:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden and cooked through.

Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Prepare the Mushroom Sauce:

In the same skillet, add onions and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.

Add garlic and mushrooms, cooking for another 4-5 minutes until the mushrooms are tender.

Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the skillet.

Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, thyme, and basil. Let the sauce simmer for 5-7 minutes until it thickens.
Combine and Serve:

Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top.
