Easy Slow Cooker Meatballs Recipe
After seeing this, I will never make meatballs any other way again!
Ingredients:
2 pounds ground beef
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup finely chopped onion

2 weight salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 jar ( 24 oz) Favorite Marinara Sauce
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions:
Mixture of ground meat, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, milk, eggs, salt, pepper and oregano. Mix carefully, do not overwork the meat.
Form 1 1/2 centimeter meatballs and place on a plate.
Add half of the marinara sauce to the slow cooker.Place the meatballs in a single layer in the slow cooker, stacking if necessary, but avoid crowding.
Cover the meatballs with the remaining sauce and add red pepper flakes if necessary.

Cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or on high heat for 3-4 hours until the meatballs are cooked through.
Stir gently before serving to coat with the sauce.
Variations and tips:
Replace the minced meat with half a piece of pork or beef to give it a special touch.Add a zest of parmesan cheese to the sauce for more flavor.
Garnish with chopped parsley for more freshness.
These meatballs freeze well and make a quick and comforting meal for the future. Allow to thaw in the refrigerator and then reheat in a saucepan.
