Fluffy Pancakes
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions:
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.
- Combine: Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the milk mixture. Stir until the batter is smooth but avoid overmixing.
- Heat the Pan: Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat.
- Cook the Pancakes: Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancake and the edges start to firm up. Flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
- Serve: Serve hot with butter, syrup, or your favorite toppings.
