Fruit and Cream Dessert Recipe

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 2 kiwis, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup mango chunks (fresh or canned)
  • 2 cups whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds or other nuts (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Fruits:
    • Wash and dry the raspberries.
    • Peel and slice the bananas.
    • Peel and slice the kiwis.
    • If using fresh mango, peel and cut into chunks. If using canned mango, drain and cut into chunks if necessary.
  2. Layer the Dessert:
    • In a large serving dish or individual serving glasses, start by adding a layer of whipped cream at the bottom.
    • Add a layer of mixed fruits (raspberries, banana slices, kiwi slices, and mango chunks).
    • Repeat the layers until all the fruits and whipped cream are used, ending with a layer of fruits on top.
  3. Add Toppings:
    • Sprinkle the sliced almonds or other nuts on top of the dessert for added crunch, if using.
    • Lightly dust the top with powdered sugar for a touch of sweetness, if desired.
  4. Garnish:
    • Garnish with fresh mint leaves for an extra touch of freshness and color.
  5. Chill and Serve:
    • Refrigerate the dessert for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld and the whipped cream to set.
