Garlic Herb Butter Shrimp

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare Shrimp: Arrange the shrimp in a single layer on a baking dish.
  3. Make Garlic Butter Sauce:
    • In a small pan, melt butter and mix in olive oil.
    • Add minced garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes (if using).
    • Let it simmer for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Combine: Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the shrimp.
  5. Bake: Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes, or until shrimp turn pink and are fully cooked.
  6. Garnish: Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley and lemon juice.
  7. Serve: Serve immediately over rice, pasta, or alongside crusty bread.
