Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops 🥩

  • 1 tsp salt 🧂

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp garlic powder 🧄

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 egg, beaten 🥚

  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (or panko for extra crispiness)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp butter 🧈

Instructions

Prepare the Pork Chops:

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls:

    • One with flour

    • One with beaten egg

    • One with breadcrumbs

Coat and Cook:

  1. Dredge each pork chop in flour, then dip into the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs. Press the breadcrumbs to ensure they stick well.

  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

  3. Place the pork chops in the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.

  4. Check doneness with a meat thermometer—internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).

  5. Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving.
