Green Apple Pistachio Parfait

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 green apple (sliced)
  • 1 banana (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup pistachios (shelled)
  • 1/2 cup granola or crushed nuts
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Optional: A sprinkle of chia seeds or additional nuts for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Layers:
    • Slice the green apple and banana thinly for layering.
    • Shell the pistachios if not already done.
  2. Assemble the Parfait:
    • In a glass, layer the granola or crushed nuts at the bottom.
    • Add a layer of banana slices, followed by apple slices.
    • Spoon Greek yogurt on top and drizzle with honey or maple syrup for sweetness.
    • Top with pistachios and garnish with chia seeds if desired.
  3. Serve:

  • 1/2 avocado

  • Ice cubes (optional, for a chilled smoothie)

Instructions:

  1. Blend the Ingredients:
    • Add the banana, green apple, avocado, spinach/kale, almond milk, and honey to a blender.
    • Blend until smooth and creamy. Add ice cubes for a chilled drink if desired.
  2. Adjust Consistency:
    • If the smoothie is too thick, add more milk. If too thin, add more banana or avocado.
  3. Serve:
