For those who have a taste for the authentic flavors of Italy,  Italian pasta with chicken is a soothing culinary journey. This dish harmoniously combines juicy pieces of chicken  with perfectly prepared pasta, all coated in a creamy herb sauce.Every bite is a testament to the rich, timeless Italian cuisine that resonates with pasta enthusiasts around the world.

 Ingredients

 For Chicken and Pasta:

4-5 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast Cutlets

12 oz. preferred pasta (e.g. linguine, fettuccine)

½ cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon garlic powder

2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

2 tablespoons oil

Salt and pepper, as needed

For the creamy sauce:

1 onion, finely chopped

3 garlic cloves , chopped

4 tablespoons butter

2 ripe tomatoes, diced

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup white wine

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon salt

Optional: ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes

 Procedure:

Dredge chicken in flour  with garlic powder, salt, pepper and 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning.

Heat the oil in a frying pan, fry the chicken until golden brown and set aside.In the same pan, melt the butter and then fry the onion and garlic. Briefly add

tomatoes.

Add the flour, mix, then add the wine and cook over low heat.

Over low heat, add the cream and stir.

Add Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt and optional red pepper flakes.Stir until velvety.

Cook the pasta and drain.

Add the chicken back into the creamy sauce.

Serve the pasta and pour over the chicken and sauce mixture.
