Ingredients:

  • Graham Cracker Crust:
    • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
    • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • Creamy Filling:
    • 2 cups whole milk
    • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
    • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
    • 1/4 cup cornstarch
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Chocolate Topping:
    • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
    • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Graham Cracker Crust:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated with butter.
    • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool completely.
  2. Prepare the Creamy Filling:
    • In a medium saucepan, whisk together the milk, sweetened condensed milk, granulated sugar, and cornstarch until smooth.
    • Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a gentle boil. This should take about 5-7 minutes.
    • Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then pour it over the cooled graham cracker crust. Spread it evenly.
    • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the filling is fully set.
  3. Prepare the Chocolate Topping:
    • In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer. Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips. Let it sit for 2-3 minutes, then stir until smooth and glossy.
    • Pour the chocolate topping over the chilled creamy filling, spreading it evenly.
  4. Chill and Serve:
    • Refrigerate the assembled dessert for another hour, or until the chocolate topping is set.
    • Cut into squares and serve chilled.
