Maple-Glazed Pork Steaks
Version 1
Ingredients:
- 4 pork steaks
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix maple syrup, soy sauce, mustard, and garlic.
Marinate pork steaks in the mixture for 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan and sear the steaks until golden brown.
Pour the marinade over the steaks and let it caramelize.
Serve hot with roasted veggies or rice!
Version 2
Ingredients:
- 4 pork steaks
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 2 garlic cloves, mashed
- 1 tsp olive oil
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
Combine maple syrup, soy sauce, mustard, and garlic in a bowl.
Coat the steaks with the marinade and let them rest for 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the steaks until browned.
Add the marinade to the pan and let it thicken.
Serve warm with mashed potatoes or steamed greens!
