Monte Cristo Sandwich

INGREDIENTS:
2 eggs
A pinch of salt and black pepper.
4 pieces of hard white bread.
2 tablespoons mustard.
2 tablespoons mayonnaise.
½ pound roasted ham. Gruyère cheese weighing
½ ounces.
Salt and pepper to taste.
2 tablespoons oil.
Powdered sugar, honey, preserves (selection above).
INSTRUCTIONS:
Beat the eggs in a large bowl with salt and pepper and set aside.
Combine sandwiches with mustard, mayonnaise, ham, cheese, salt and pepper and toss lightly.
Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat and dip each sandwich into the beaten egg and place in the pan.
Cook until browned on all sides, about 2 to 3 minutes, and voila!
Easy, easy and cheesy! You can make it in under 15 minutes, so it’s a perfect choice for breakfast if you’re running late!
