Introduction

Ingredients:

  • All-purpose flour
  • Active dry yeast
  • Sugar
  • Salt
  • Olive oil
  • Warm water
  • Fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Sea salt flakes

Instructions:

  1. Activate the yeast: In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5-10 minutes, or until foamy.
  2. Make the dough: In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a lightly floured surface for 5-7 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.
  3. First rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size. 1
