Taco Cupcakes Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 12 wonton wrappers
- Cooking spray
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray a 12-cup muffin tin with cooking spray.
- Cook the Beef:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the taco seasoning and water to the skillet. Stir to combine and simmer until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Assemble the Taco Cupcakes:
- Place a wonton wrapper in each cup of the muffin tin, pressing down gently to form a cup shape.
- Add a spoonful of the seasoned beef mixture into each wonton cup.
- Sprinkle a little bit of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the beef mixture.
- Bake:
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the wonton wrappers are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Add Toppings:
- Remove the taco cupcakes from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- Top each cupcake with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced black olives, diced onions, and a dollop of sour cream.
- Garnish with sliced green onions.
- Serve:
- Serve the taco cupcakes immediately, while they are still warm and crispy.
