Taco Cupcakes Recipe

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • Cooking spray

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray a 12-cup muffin tin with cooking spray.
  2. Cook the Beef:
    • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
    • Add the taco seasoning and water to the skillet. Stir to combine and simmer until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  3. Assemble the Taco Cupcakes:
    • Place a wonton wrapper in each cup of the muffin tin, pressing down gently to form a cup shape.
    • Add a spoonful of the seasoned beef mixture into each wonton cup.
    • Sprinkle a little bit of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the beef mixture.
  4. Bake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the wonton wrappers are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  5. Add Toppings:
    • Remove the taco cupcakes from the oven and let them cool slightly.
    • Top each cupcake with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced black olives, diced onions, and a dollop of sour cream.
    • Garnish with sliced green onions.
  6. Serve:
    • Serve the taco cupcakes immediately, while they are still warm and crispy.
