  • 500 grams of white fish fillets (like cod or haddock), cooked and flaked
  • 2 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

Start by preparing your main ingredients: the fish should be cooked and flaked, and potatoes boiled and mashed. This will form the base of your fish cakes.
