Homemade Fruit Tea
Ingredients:
- 1 cup dried dates
- 1/2 cup dried apricots
- 1/2 cup dried figs
- 6 cups water
- Honey or sugar to taste (optional)

- Prepare the Fruit: Roughly chop the dried dates, apricots, and figs to increase their surface area for better infusion.
- Boil the Water: In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the Fruit: Once the water is boiling, add the chopped dried fruits. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes. The longer you simmer, the stronger the flavor.
- Strain and Serve: Strain the tea through a fine mesh sieve into cups. Press against the dried fruit with a spoon to extract maximum flavor.
- Sweeten If Desired: Add honey or sugar to taste, if desired.
- Enjoy: Serve the tea warm. You can also chill it in the refrigerator and serve it cold as a refreshing drink.
