No-Bake Chocolate Biscuit Balls Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups digestive biscuits or tea biscuits, crushed
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dark chocolate, melted
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil or coconut oil

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Biscuits:
    • Place the biscuits in a large bowl and crush them into small pieces using your hands or a rolling pin. You want some larger chunks for texture.
  2. Combine Ingredients:
    • In a separate bowl, mix together the sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, chopped nuts (if using), and vanilla extract until well combined.
    • Pour the condensed milk mixture over the crushed biscuits and mix until the biscuits are fully coated.
  3. Form the Balls:
    • Using your hands, take small portions of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls. Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Chill:
    • Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to allow the balls to firm up.
  5. Melt the Chocolate:
    • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate and vegetable oil (or coconut oil) in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until smooth.
  6. Coat the Balls:
    • Using a fork or dipping tool, dip each chilled biscuit ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off.
    • Place the coated balls back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Set the Chocolate:
    • Place the baking sheet back in the refrigerator for another 30 minutes, or until the chocolate coating has fully set.
  8. Serve:
    • Once the chocolate has set, the biscuit balls are ready to be served. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Enjoy your delicious no-bake chocolate biscuit balls! They make a perfect treat for any occasion.
