Carrot cake plate
Ingredients
2 cups flour
2 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 and 1/2 cups white sugar
3 large eggs
1 water cup vegetable oil
2 cups grated carrots
1 cup chopped walnuts or walnuts optional
For the topping:
8 ounces chem cheese at room temperature
1/2 cup salted butter at room temperature
4 cups powdered sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat the oven. 350°F C and grease a 9×13 baking pan.
In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
In a large bowl, whisk the sugar, eggs and butter until well combined. Then add the dry mixture to the wet mixture and mix until combined. Finally, add grated carrots and greens (if you wish) and mix well.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly with a spatula. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the bread cool completely.
For the frosting, mix cream cheese and butter until smooth. Then add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract and beat until everything is well mixed and smooth.
Spread the cream on the frosted cake, bake and enjoy!
