Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls or slider buns
- 8 slices cheddar cheese (or cheese of your choice)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook the Beef:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Assemble the Sliders:
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the top and bottom halves connected.
- Place the bottom halves of the rolls on the prepared baking sheet.
- Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls.
- Lay the cheese slices evenly over the beef mixture.
- Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese.
- Brush with Butter:
- Brush the melted butter evenly over the tops of the rolls. If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
- Bake:
- Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are warmed through.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes to allow the tops to become golden brown.
- Serve:
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before cutting into individual sliders. Serve warm.
Enjoy your delicious cheesy beef sliders!
