Cheesy Beef Sliders

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls or slider buns
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese (or cheese of your choice)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook the Beef:
    • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Drain any excess fat.
    • Add the Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
  3. Assemble the Sliders:
    • Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping the top and bottom halves connected.
    • Place the bottom halves of the rolls on the prepared baking sheet.
    • Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls.
    • Lay the cheese slices evenly over the beef mixture.
    • Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese.
  4. Brush with Butter:
    • Brush the melted butter evenly over the tops of the rolls. If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  5. Bake:
    • Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are warmed through.
    • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes to allow the tops to become golden brown.
  6. Serve:
    • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before cutting into individual sliders. Serve warm.

Enjoy your delicious cheesy beef sliders!
