Chicken and Broccoli Casserole Recipe
Ingredients:
- 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets, steamed until tender
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions:
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or a similar-sized casserole dish.
- Cook Broccoli and Rice:
- Steam the broccoli florets until tender but still bright green. Cook the rice according to package instructions.
- Prepare the Sauce:
- In a large bowl, mix together the condensed cream of chicken soup, sour cream, mayonnaise, chicken broth, thyme, basil, salt, and pepper. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese.
- Sauté Onion and Garlic:
- In a small skillet, sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent and fragrant, about 5 minutes. Add to the sauce mixture.
- Combine Ingredients:
- In the large bowl with the sauce mixture, add the cooked chicken, steamed broccoli, and cooked rice. Stir until everything is well combined.

- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- Optional Topping:
- If using, combine the breadcrumbs with melted butter in a small bowl and sprinkle over the top of the casserole.
