Chocolate Fudge Cake
Ingredients
For the Cake:

1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

1 cup hot coffee ☕
For the Fudge Frosting:

1 cup unsalted butter, softened 🧈

2 ½ cups powdered sugar

¾ cup cocoa powder 🍫

½ cup heavy cream

Instructions
Prepare the Cake Batter:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 8-inch cake pans.

In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Add milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.

Gradually add hot coffee and mix until combined. The batter will be thin.

Bake the Cake:

Divide the batter evenly into the prepared pans.

Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Let cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Make the Fudge Frosting:

In a bowl, beat butter until creamy.

Add powdered sugar and cocoa powder, mixing until combined.

Pour in heavy cream and vanilla, beating until smooth and fluffy.
Assemble & Decorate:

Place one cake layer on a plate and spread frosting over the top.

Place the second layer on top and cover the entire cake with frosting.

Garnish with chocolate shavings or a drizzle of melted chocolate.
