Cottage Pie with Potatoes and Minced Meat
Ingredients:
- Meat Layer:
- 1 lb ground beef or lamb
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 carrots, peeled and diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef or chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Potato Topping:
- 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and quartered
- ΒΌ cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Prepare the Meat Layer:
- In a large skillet, cook the ground meat over medium heat until browned. Add onion, carrots, and garlic and cook until soft.
