Creamy Baked Chicken

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chicken:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
    • In a skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil and sear the chicken breasts on both sides until golden, about 3-4 minutes per side. Transfer to a baking dish.
  2. Make the Sauce:
    • In the same skillet, add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, thyme, basil, and chicken broth. Stir and bring to a simmer.
    • Pour the sauce over the chicken in the baking dish.
  3. Bake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbly.
    • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
