Creamy Baked Chicken
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- ½ cup chicken broth
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions:
- Prepare the Chicken:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- In a skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil and sear the chicken breasts on both sides until golden, about 3-4 minutes per side. Transfer to a baking dish.
- Make the Sauce:
- In the same skillet, add the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, thyme, basil, and chicken broth. Stir and bring to a simmer.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken in the baking dish.
- Bake:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
