Ingredients:

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • Optional: extra lemon zest for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Mixture:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and lemon juice. Whisk until the mixture thickens slightly. The acidity of the lemon juice will help thicken the condensed milk.
    • Add the heavy cream to the bowl and continue to whisk until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  2. Add Lemon Zest:
    • Stir in the lemon zest, ensuring it is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  3. Chill:
    • Pour the mixture into individual serving cups or a large serving dish. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the dessert is well chilled and set.
  4. Serve:
    • Before serving, garnish with extra lemon zest if desired.
