Here’s a simple stovetop chocolate recipe
Ingredients:
– 2 cups milk
– 1/3 cup refined sugar
– 1/4 cup unrefined cocoa powder
– 3 tablespoons cornstarch
– 1/8 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt until well combined.
2. Gradually add the milk until the mixture is smooth and lump-free.
3. Place the pan over medium heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens and boils, about 8-10 minutes.
4. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
5. Pour the dough onto individual plates or into a large bowl.
6. Cover the powder with plastic wrap and ensure the wrapper touches the water surface to protect the skin.
7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until solid.
8. Serve cold with cream or fresh fruit on top.
