Homemade Fruit Tea

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dried dates
  • 1/2 cup dried apricots
  • 1/2 cup dried figs
  • 6 cups water
  • Honey or sugar to taste (optional)

  1. Prepare the Fruit: Roughly chop the dried dates, apricots, and figs to increase their surface area for better infusion.
  2. Boil the Water: In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
  3. Add the Fruit: Once the water is boiling, add the chopped dried fruits. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes. The longer you simmer, the stronger the flavor.
  4. Strain and Serve: Strain the tea through a fine mesh sieve into cups. Press against the dried fruit with a spoon to extract maximum flavor.
  5. Sweeten If Desired: Add honey or sugar to taste, if desired.
  6. Enjoy: Serve the tea warm. You can also chill it in the refrigerator and serve it cold as a refreshing drink.

This tea can be a delightful way to unwind after a day, offering both warmth and a burst of natural fruit flavors.
